I knew I had to make lifestyle changes but had no idea where to start until I started coaching sessions. Now my life is structured and healthier.

My initial reasons for seeking coaching are that I found myself at a time in my life in which I not only recognised the need to start to focus on developing my own personal care towards my wellbeing but also, at a time I felt able to give this the attention this required.

The programme helped me in a number of ways, it provided a specific time and space each week to focus on my own wellbeing, to recognise unhelpful patterns and to develop new healthy lifestyle choices. I felt able to explore specific areas I would like to improve such as; food and mood, exercise, sleep routine, positive self-talk.

I have been able to make changes by developing a greater sense of selfcare in a number of different areas. I now eat lunch, try to make healthy snack choices, reduced sugar cravings, walking and listening to mindful podcasts, follow an improved bedtime routine, make use of a journal to address any negative and limiting thoughts thorough the day and to reflect on positive self-talk to create healthy beliefs and improve my confidence.

Camilla, my coach had such a calming manner and created a safe space for me that I instantly felt at ease and comfortable to share transparently and openly. Camilla, often reflected things back to me, which helped me to feel understood and heard, hearing my own words and feelings enabled me to reflect on and to validate my own internal voice and sense of self. Camila, was also able to offer flexibility for the time of the session on the day to fit around my work schedule which helped hugely, I felt the regular time each week gave me such a boost reflecting on the changes achieved and support with setting new goals. Whenever I felt I had partially achieved something due to any struggles Camilla’s responses were so kind and compassionate, she really supported me to focus on the positives achieved.

I highly recommend Camilla as your life coach because her passion for this area of work shines through. I felt that Camilla was engaged in the process of understanding my personal needs and struggles, while showing respect for my autonomy in making choices throughout our time working together. I felt that Camilla had given thought to the next session and I liked how Camilla offered options for specific areas of focus for the session which connected with my aims that we explored at the start of the sessions.

I will remember Camilla, her care, kindness, compassion, and positive regard.

I reached out to Camilla to help me work through my wellness goals: Set boundaries with my friends and clients, start planning my weekly/monthly goals – something I haven’t been motivated to do on my own. Camilla helped me breakdown my goals into smaller steps I can work on daily, which seemed much less daunting. She asked thoughtful questions to help me figure out what it is I really want, struggle with, etc.

In just four sessions Camilla made a significant impact on my life – I realise now how much control I have over my thoughts, daily choices, reactions to other people’s behaviours, etc.

I started the programme while finding myself in a bit of a lull and not knowing where to start to make it better.

I was extremely fatigued, bloated all of the time. Not having enough water each day and a lack of motivation was making all tasks a lot more daunting than they should have been.

Working with Camilla on the blood sugar principles and on ways to improve my daily tasks/future aspirations we managed to find the root cause of my problems and find my motivation back.

Since starting working with Camilla I have figured out what is important to me. I have let go of the little things and I have gained a much better understanding of how food was also affecting these things for me.

Alongside this, I have become happier with my weight, with the added bonus of losing a few pounds and feeling a lot more comfortable within myself. This has made me a lot more motivated to get everything else in order.

Spending time speaking with Camilla about my goals for the future has opened up conversations with my partner and all in all things are so much better for me.

I’ll continue to work on the things that we have discussed and keep enforcing these in my day to day life, knowing that should I require any help again I can always call on Camilla to take a new course of sessions.

Before I began the coaching programme I was stuck in a rut. There were many areas of my life I wanted to change or was unhappy with, but I felt that whatever I tried didn’t work, didn’t last or wasn’t achievable. I was exhausted with all the trying.

The programme led me to deeply consider what I want my life to look like. The seemingly simple areas that were investigated are ones that are often discussed in the media or in self-help books and I wasn’t expecting the work around them to be so impactful. In the past I have always failed when trying to work alone on these areas. However, having a supportive, skilled coach taking me through these areas of health and well-being, step by step, was fundamental to the changes I made. Being accountable to her for my goals served as a corner stone of my success but what has been surprising is that little by little I have come to feel more accountable to myself. The holistic focus of the coaching programme surprised me and has helped me to live and plan for a fuller life and this has definitely improved my wellbeing and mental health. Applying for educational courses, making travel plans, planning fun into my life and confronting fears are all areas that Camilla has helped me with over the past 6 weeks. Also, my commitment to my physical health has really improved and I have seen steady, sustainable changes. I have spent many years yo-yo dieting which has resulted in confusion and anxiety around what to eat, when to eat and how often. On the whole, I am now eating 3 meals a day, snacking less and am definitely more patient with myself. If I slip up with food plans, I have the resilience and perseverance to reset quickly and not spiral into weeks or months of poor eating habits. This is a major breakthrough for me. New eating habits have definitely improved my energy levels and I am not experiencing the exhaustion in the afternoons which saw me needing to nap. I have also lost weight and I feel lighter and less bloated. I am happy that I am beginning to feel and look better in my clothes, and I am content with slow, sustainable weight loss rather than a quick fix. I have also thoroughly enjoyed exercising regularly again and pushing myself to try new classes at the gym. This has also improved my mood, outlook, and energy levels.

Camilla is a very warm person who is easy to connect with. She is very focused and efficient in drilling down to the essential/fundamental points. She listens extremely carefully and takes great care to ensure she has understood your beliefs, needs and requests. She provides a safe, comfortable environment in which you can be authentic and meets you where you are in an open, non-judgemental manner. Not only does she help you to audit your life and make the changes you want to see but she gives you the tools to do so. This is not an easy ride. She does not do the work for you. You have to be committed but having her to effectively hold your hand whilst guiding and supporting you through is really empowering and it can help you change and achieve the things you want in your life! 

Working with Camilla has enabled my world to become larger again. I don’t feel like I am just going through the motions and living on autopilot anymore but that I am going to shape my own life the way I would like it. I worked with Camilla initially to improve my nutrition with the intent of being fitter. Through the course of my sessions with her, we identified other opportunities for me to improve on which while unexpected were highly welcomed. She helped me identify specific goals for the week which would help move the needle on the milestone we identified. The goals, and improvement areas were defined by me but I could not have done so without Camilla’s help and that’s why I am happy to recommend her to others. Knowing that I would be speaking to her the following week added a sense of accountability to the tasks which I found useful.
